Meet Jo.

A firecracker underneath a head of silky smooth blonde hair.
As Jo turned the corner onto Casa street she was met with a flurry of hungry pigeons gnawing at a rogue bagel scattered across the side walk. Jo delicately tiptoed past, avoiding a tomato slice from sticking to her new brogues in the process.
Ugh, she hated the pigeons in the city, they were all savages and just gave her the creeps. Jo touched her distressed leather briefcase, as if to remind herself that there was a business card and call-back sheet proudly stuffed inside. She just had a somewhat successful audition down at the old theater, and the director had asked her for a call back - something she solemnly seemed to get.
Jo was so sick of sending self tapes after self tapes, and waiting for callbacks that never came. This time felt different though. As she read the script out in the middle of the creaky stage floor, she could feel the panel of men staring back at her, leaning on the edge of their seats in absolute awe. The script was good, Jo could admit that, but she felt a real connection to the main character, something these days she felt was rare.
As she made her way to her favorite thrift store @betterhalfthestore, ready to award herself for all her exhausted nights, Jo felt the pit of her stomach flip as her mind began to wonder - what if this was it? Maybe this was the time where she finally gets her foot in the door of the one thing she loves the most - acting. Jo loved theater, and the thought of spending most of her days at the back of the musty town hall honestly sounded like a dream to her. Jo’s thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of her cellphone ringing. She dug her hand into the leather satchel that was now cutting into her shoulder, and frantically searched for the device - it was a new number calling. Her heart skipped a beat, maybe this was the callback? Maybe this was it??
Jo's Outfit Details:
It's a bit difficult to nail down Jo's exact wardrobe items, as she mainly thrifts and will only buy one-of-a-kind second hand items. With that being said, here is a list of her favourite thrift stores to shop at:
